Before the Zoe Vexel drama began, Septio (an Oct) escaped from Quantar and then recaptured in Hyperial. Letifer (who had previously had connections to STCC) demanded his release and later unleashed his deadly virus on Perasca . . . a virus that later was allegedly used by the Hyperian government upon groups of its own citizens . . . and reported by Zoe Vexel.
