'It is with great sorrow that the Provisional Government of Hyperial announces that President Kelvin Rauder was killed in the recent terrorist act upon the Presidential Complex.
President Rauder, his entire staff, the senior leadership of the General Commission, and numerous others were all slain in this heinous attack.
At this time, the surviving members of the General Commission have taken it upon themselves to set up a Provisional Government to act upon all matters of state. Our first priority will be to apprehend and punish those responsible for this act of terrorism that has struck down the great and dear leader of all Hypsos.
Explosions Destroy Presidential Palace on Hypsos

TRINN Central Desk - Today, at 0400 local time, the Presidential Palace in Rongen on Hypsos was destroyed in a series of three massive explosions. The status and whereabouts of President Kelvin Rauder is not known.
Witnesses reported seeing a massive plasma-like fireball rising above the ruins of the Palace complex which quickly dissipated following the largest of the three blasts.
Hyperial government spokesmen could not be reached for comment due to the chaos at the scene.
TRINN will report further details as they become available.

Solrain Core (TRI-FP) - The STCC has directly interceded in the current Hyperial conflict, following the downing of pilot Mugshot last night by pilot InterOrka.
"Clearly, the current situation is getting out of hand," stated STCC Minster of Trade Ferrix Charyb. "Despite a good faith agreement, a civilian pilot, in compliance with the agreement, was shot down. Therefore, we are requesting that all loyal Solrain military pilots provide additional cover for civilian pilots in Hyperial space, until further notice.

Hyperial (TRI-FP) - A temporary cessation of open hostilities was arranged last night, after heated words were exchanged between pilot InterOrka, and Hyperial President Kelvin Rauder.
"We were glad that InterOrka finally saw reason," stated Rauder. "As part of the agreement, humanitarian aid, as well as mission cargo may be delivered to Hyperial. All other items will remain status quo, until the STCC completes its investigation into the failed terrorist attacks against their planets, as well as Hypsos.
"The direct involvement of Quantar factional squad Quantars Hope was unfortunate, and, at this time, we are confident that this was an isolated incident, that will not lead to an escalation of the situation during this critical period. It is important that everyone remain calm, and rational. The unwarranted destruction of civilian assets is neither necessary, nor desired, and all sides must do everything possible to ensure their protection."
Sources within the STCC indicate high level ministerial meetings to discuss possible options and scenarios regarding Hyperial.

Hyperial(TRI-FP) - In what appears to be an escalations of tensions between Octavian pilot InterOrka and Hyperial, InterOrka has vowed to strip Hyperial of all commodities and equipment. In response, President Rauder has directed station personnel to adjust InterOrka's PR with Hyperial accordingly.
"There is a very fine line between free trade and preventing the ongoing manufacturing operations at our station," commented the President. "The actions of this pilot are unfortunate, and we must take all efforts to protect our assets. It is our hope that this aggressive new course of events will not taint the ongoing investigation into InterOrka's role in the attempted activation of nuclear weapons on Hypsos.

Hyperial (TRI-FP) - In what appears to be an orchestrated meeting, Solrain pilot Mugshot surrendered without incident to local security forces at Hyperial station early this morning.
The pilot was quickly whisked away to a holding cell for further questioning.
Anonymous sources indicate that Mugshot may wish to strike a deal, in return for full co-operation with the Hyperial and Solrain investigations.

HYPERIAL (TRI-FP) - Simultaneous dawn raids by Hyperial security forces against several PSI planetside and station offices as well as executive homes and properties has resulted in the arrests of over 20 PSI employees, and thwarted a major terrorist attack against Hyperial and Solrain assets.
"Following credible information provided to us from pilots and corporate entities, we were able to piece together a trail which ultimately was destined to lead to a major attack," remarked Speaker Graham Talut. "We have verified, concrete information that PSI was being used as a front for multiple terrorist activities, including links with the Octavian group Phoenix Rising.
"The attack that was thwarted by the combined efforts of pilots and other corporations working together would have, if it had succeeded, resulted in the detonation of nuclear devices on Hypsos, as well as several Solrain planets.

WAKE STATION - TRI stands divided tonight, as the Brotherhood of the Stone made clear its opposition to the current Hyperial faction mission to complete a magnesium nano-assembler.
Several hours ago, hostilities began between pilots of the Brotherhood and TRI Civilians running transport and mining between Hyperial and stations abroad in an attempt to finish the faction mission before magnesium supplies in the galaxy were exhausted entirely. Magnesium is a crucial mineral used in the construction of many critical devices within TRI, in particular Hyperial missiles.
Brotherhood pilot Gogo began the conflict by firing upon civilians attempting to assist the Hyperial mission, including AvengeND of TRI defense squad New Dawn. Gogo insists that he was under direct orders from his brother Ambrosius, leader of the Brotherhood of the Stone, and that Ambrosius himself was merely acting on behalf of "Hamalzah's Will."
Upon direct questioning, Ambrosius confirmed giving the order to attack pilots mining for the faction mission. "Economies come, economies go, yet the blood of Quantar martyrs remains," he explained when asked why he would oppose a mission that could help to save the TRI economy from further collapse. "Why should I cease these attacks?" Ambrosius' brother Gogo elaborated. "It is they who offend. They aid the Enemy."

Hyperial (TRI-FP) - Dr. Kelvin Rauder, the President of Hyperial, is calling for an investigation into alleged criminal activities against pilot Dr-McManus of the squad New Dawn for his actions taken during the Sentient attack on 104.07.25.
"We have been beset with the most brutal attack we have seen in many years, and while we sift through the rubble and attempt to restore order, and treat our injured, I am receiving reports that while Hyperial Station was under siege from the Conflux, that Dr-McManus of New Dawn was aiding this attack by pummeling our station with his own stock of nuclear missiles. While the standard nuclear missile is not capable of damaging stations due to the shielding in place, given the weakened state of our station defenses from the sentient attack, it is likely that his weapons only served to add to the destruction."

HYPSOS (TRI-FP) - Last evening long range sensors within Hyperial territory picked up several large energy bursts upon the surface of Hypsos in the Rongen region.
From sensory analysis it is believed that these explosions took place at several old fusion power complexes that provide power to many of the manufacturing districts of Rongen. Initial casualties have not been released and Hyperial has downplayed the damage caused to prevent mass panic upon the surface. Nearby Samsun Universal facilities were among the most impacted in the blasts.

TRI-HQ/HYPERIAL (TRI-FP) - Today, a custom producer appeared in Hyperial, however instead of the building being labelled "Conflux Biomass Facility", the sign read "Burglar Production".
Burglars. Not Biomass. Early tests show this device can successfully steal cargo from ships. Instead of responding directly to queries, Hyperial issued the following statement:
We thank the hard working pilots of TRI for providing us with what we really need. In light of the lack of infestations, clearly we believe this new technology will be of substantial value and use.
