TRINN Central Desk - The Provisional Government on Hyperial has issued the following communique:
'It is with great sorrow that the Provisional Government of Hyperial announces that President Kelvin Rauder was killed in the recent terrorist act upon the Presidential Complex.
President Rauder, his entire staff, the senior leadership of the General Commission, and numerous others were all slain in this heinous attack.
At this time, the surviving members of the General Commission have taken it upon themselves to set up a Provisional Government to act upon all matters of state. Our first priority will be to apprehend and punish those responsible for this act of terrorism that has struck down the great and dear leader of all Hypsos.
Make no mistake, we will find you, and we will make you pay.'
TRINN has learned that Philo Barton, a former Second Speaker of the General Commission, will be the new First Speaker of the General Commission and will act as the President Pro Tempore until the chaotic situation on Hypsos can be addressed.
