Solrain Core (TRI-FP) - Sources within the STCC and the Octavian Ministry of War have confirmed reception of a new communique from Amananth, presumably by the governments of all three factions. "Amananth's statement was much more somber than usual," described Dr Calatorius, "I refuse to quote it directly here, but I implore my counterparts in Solrain and Quantar to recall my prior offer of a council. We must collaborate to address the Conflux threat."
A source close to the STCC, who refused to be named, hinted that the recent show of force in Hyperial space by the Conflux, with a series of gate infestations and a severe and long-lasting particle storm, may represent the shape of things to come. "This would be highly disruptive to trade," our contact stated.
Of apparently equal concern is a suggestion in the communique that Amananth was "preparing measures of its own" and expressed a form of gratitude for the stockpiled resources and other materials currently at Amananth Station.
Attempts to obtain a statement from the offices of Rohi bin Hamalzahd about either the Amananth message or Dr. Calatorius' reaction have met with no success.
