Octavius Core (TRI-FP) - In a brief statement released today, Legate Lucanus announced that OPL CEO G. Marcian has escaped from Octavian custody. Marcian, charged on 107.3.16 with the murder of TRINN reporter Zoe Vexel, escaped during a prison transfer after the penal shuttle he was quartered in crashed at Octavius Core during the sentient Conflux attack on 107.04.02.
"The arch-traitor Marcian has escaped. He may have evaded imperial justice for the moment, but his fate is already sealed. He has been found guilty in absentia and sentenced to death. Anyone harboring or assisting the fugitive will be considered an accomplice in his long list of traitorous deeds and suffer a similar fate."
Pointed follow up questions by this reporter were ignored. Requests for further information were denied.
