Octavius Core Station - In response to repeated questions from reporters, Dr. Calatorius elaborated on his earlier announcement about the crash of the CLAWS array and the mysterious deep-space carier wave that appeared to deliver a quantum virus, saying "the CLAWS array is an early warning system...but it also served other more minor, space science functions to include the study of the nature of our space since the Great Collapse. These functions were used by the various science academies. I have been informed that recently there were several odd readings that were picked up by the array."

Octavius Core Station - Over the past weekend, TRI released news that the CLAWS array had gone down. Conflux Studies expert, Dr. Calatorius commented: "Based upon my preliminary analysis, it would seem the system has been taken offline by a quantum computer virus that has not only brought down the array, but also locked the system down."
"We are investigating where the virus may have originated -- we detected a carrier wave remnant coming from deep space. What is odd about this carrier wave is that it appears to not originate from any of our known sectors, nor does it originate from conflux space, which is most disconcerting.
Pilot reactions ran from confusion to concern to elation that a big fight may be afoot.

Octavius Core Station - After a little more than a week, the Octavian-sponsored mission to increase the production output of its factory in Great Pillars Station was completed shortly before 5am Ekoos Time on 109.9.14. The final delivery was fittingly made by pilot InterOrka of the squad STMG, since it was InterOrka who coordinated much of the effort.
Ironically, the initial call for the mission came from a Quantar pilot, Bayonette, the founder of the mutifactional TRI Privateers organization. Bayonette and the TRI Privateers continued to support and endorse the mission even after Octavian Officials said the new mission would “. . . facilitate the Empire's new drive to increase Imperial dominance throughout TRI space.”

OPL engineers were quick to point out that production cycles at the Octavius Core facility would remain low as they fine tune the system and work out kinks in production.

Outpost (TRI-FP) - Dr Calatorius, head of the Conflux studies group at the Octavian Ministry of War, has released a prediction what he calls an imminent major attack against factional assets.
"Over the last few days, we have seen a significant increase in small scale attacks by sentient Conflux," stated Calatorius. "While details of these attacks are sketchy, due to lack of pilot reports, there has been no direct attacks on our infrastructure. "While on patrol last night I ran across InterOrka carrying some plutonium. I checked station inventory monitoring software and discover plutonium missing from Cornea. When I confronted him about it privately, he admitted to it. [Records of this were sent to the TRINN offices, as confirmation]
